Lacey Sombar is an Atlanta based photographer and artist.  Lacey grew up in Augusta, Georgia where she attended the John S. Davidson Fine Arts Magnet School.  She continued her study of Fine Art attending the University of Georgia’s Lamar Dodd School of Art where she received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography.

While at Georgia, Lacey had the opportunity to study under textile artist, Clay McLaurin and interned with the Color Association of the United States and photographers Emily J. Followill and Johnny and Charlotte Autry.

Lacey specializes in product, food, landscape, interior, architectural photography.

She approaches her professional work as a Fine Art photographer giving her an instinctive understanding of natural light and color.   Her Fine Art projects combine photography and textiles in both film and digital mediums. 

Her work has been featured in publications including Elle Décor, Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles, The Atlantan, Flower Magazine, Jezebel, and the Cloth & Kind blog.

She works closely with clients including Melanie Davis Design, Dixon Rye, Clay McLaurin Studio, and Alex Smith Garden Design, Ltd.
